Recall that the spring tide, when the tide is the highest or the lowest of the month, occurs twice a month during full and new moons. See the Bahamian tide chart for 2026 here.
The new moon will occur in Gemini as the Sun is in Gemini! Big moment for being more social and working on our communication. Venus is Leo may amplify this energy with big adoration and passion for art, friends and luck with money. Mercury in Cancer drives us to think more about emotions and memories when it comes to friendship and ourselves. Mars in Taurus challenges us to stay the course and to be persistent. We may be stubborn and defensive, but patience is a virtue!
Here are some updates on the outer planets: Jupiter is moving out of Cancer until about June 30th, Saturn is in Aries, Uranus is in Gemini, Neptune is in Aries and Pluto is retrograding in Aquarius. For more on what this means, see what the astrology people have to say about this.

Hurricane News
As of Saturday (June 13) morning, we have a disturbance in the Gulf of Mexico that has a 20% chance of forming in the next 48 hours and 7 days. The soon to be Super El Niño means that there is lower chance for an active hurricane season and Saharan dust plumes over the Atlantic will also hamper hurricane formation this week. But with the disturbance mentioned earlier, we want to keep watch.
