Special Sky Report!
The new moon will happen on Tuesday at 5:45 a.m. The sun will set between 8:00 and 8:02 p.m. and rise between 6:27 and 6:30 a.m. Saturn and Venus and Mars will be visible in the sky this week, while Mercury, Uranus, Neptune and Jupiter will be difficult to see.
See what the astronomers are saying here. See what’s visible in the Bahamas here.
Recall that the spring tide, when the tide is the highest or the lowest of the month, occurs twice a month during full and new moons. See the Bahamian tide chart for 2026 here.
The new moon will fall in Cancer as the Sun and Mercury both are in Cancer, which is huge for new beginnings and committing to new goals related to home life, safety and our loved ones. As the Mercury Retrograde continues, you may feel a little reflective on big emotions related to memories and personal issues about people and places close to you. Venus in Virgo is practical when it comes to love and money and it is a serious moment for health and wellness too! Mars in Gemini is versatile and flexible though a tad scattered, but it should help with communication even with the Mercury Retrograde.
Here are some updates on the outer planets: Jupiter is in Leo, Saturn is in Aries, Uranus is in Gemini, Neptune is in Aries and Pluto is retrograding in Aquarius. For more on what this means, see what the astrology people have to say about this.
Let's get into this week's forecast!
